This is the Regent Republican Club’s Textbook Service for Regent University.  Here is how it works.  As a Republican organization, we are big fans of the Free Market economic system.  This site is to serve as both a service to the Students of Regent and a fundraiser for the Regent Republicans Club.  You can list textbooks you would like to sell.  You can also Search for and request to purchase textbooks from other students.  Each School at Regent has its own List Page.  If you do not see your school's list page below, then there have been no books submitted for that page as of yet.  If you are selling you will drop your books off ONLY after there is a request for them.  If you request a book you will be notified when it has been dropped off and you will then pick it up and pay for it.  You must pay when you pick up your book; no exceptions.  The Regent Republican Club is not responsible for any transaction mishap.  The Regent Republican Club is also not responsible for any books that are lost, stolen, or damaged. There are no warranties or contracts.  A book can be refused at time of pick-up, and a sale can be refused at any time (see below for specifics).  There are no refunds or exchanges.

The only sure way to know that a book you need is the same book listed is the match the ISBN#. Just because a book is listed for a class does not mean that it is A) required for that class or B) going to be used for that class this year. If you buy a book that you end up not needing there are NO REFUNDS. You can of course list the book to be sold yourself. Listing a book does not in anyway mean that it will be sold or sold first. A buyer can pick the exact book he or she wants from the list by the Request Number. Your Request Number may or may not ever be requested.

5% of the List Price will go to the Regent Republicans as a fundraiser, and 5% of the List Price will go to the program administrator for upkeep of the site. The Regent Republicans Club may choose to offer a discount of up to 5% of the List Price to full year dues paying members of the Regent Republicans. This in no way will affect the List Price or the amount that the seller receives from a sale, and will only affect the 5% of the List Price the Regent Republicans would have retained. 90% of the List Price will always go to the seller. No one is charged anything if a book is not sold.

If you would like to Sell books please fill out the Textbook Seller's Form and email it to Textbooks@regentrepublicans.com.  You will need to provide the following information to the Regent Republicans in order to process the request: Your Name, Your Email address, Your Phone number, the School at Regent the books are from, the course name, the name of the book, the edition of the book, the Author's Last Name, the ISBN# (Required and usually found on the back of the book), and the Price you would like to sell the book for. The request is just that a request. Either side can refuse the request at anytime before the exchange.

The exchange will be made at a time and location to be determined by availability. The exchange will be made preferably for cash after the buyer looks and the book and determines to purchase for the requested price. The seller will not receive any money until the exchange has been made to the purchaser. The purchaser will not receive any books until the full amount of the sale has been received by the Regent Republicans. A book that has not been exchanged for a long enough period of time may be re-listed. The person requesting the book as well as the seller will be notified. There will be no haggling. Until the exchange with the buyer takes place the seller can request that the sale not be allowed and receive the book back with no penalty. Once the book is in the hands of the Regent Republicans it can be sold for the list price.

Other terms and conditions will be determined as needed by the Program Administrator.
